A short reason why you are nominating: So often, the relationship between Narcissa and Lucius is presented as abusive, but I've come to believe that Narcissa is a strong woman in her own right. This story helps to confirm my belief and it pushes beyond the cliche of an abusive relationship to show the feeling that's behind it. You can love your spouse, but still not approve of them.
